Students at WSCA are encouraged to get involved in campus life through a variety of diverse activities. God has gifted many of our students with the ability to sing, perform, and draw. Other students have been challenged to lead through Student Government, while some put their debate skills to work on our award-winning Forensics Team. We believe these activities are an extension of the classroom and an opportunity for students to reflect Christ in all that they do.
Throughout the school year, our student body unites through various special events: Spirit Week, Homecoming, prayer groups, Spiritual Emphasis Week, See You at the Pole, and Jr./Sr. Banquet are just a few of the social activities WSCA students enjoy over the course of the year.
CSAGH schools compete annually in the Run to Advance Christian Education event. R.A.C.E. is a community building and rewarding event in which students participate and continually make a difference in educational advances.
Spiritual emphasis retreats
Students enjoy attending Spiritual Emphasis Retreats. It’s a time to grow together as a group as well as individually. Students have the opportunity to grow spiritually, physically and intellectually during this time away from normal day to day activities.
Homecoming at WSCA is a semi-formal social held on campus. Students grades 9-12 attend and celebrate with dancing, games, and snacks.
Spirit Week is a fun week at WSCA. Students get to dress in their favorite costumes and attire to match the distributed schedule. The dress code varies each day from Superhero Day to Crazy Hair Day to Pajama Day, and more! Students love participating and brightening the dark winter days with their smiles and laughter during Spirit Week.
