Advanced Placement

Student working on paper Students should consult their teacher and/or the principal to determine whether they should take an Advanced Placement course. Students are encouraged to add AP Courses to their academic portfolio. These courses provide students with a taste of college-rigor while still in high school.

The cost of an AP Exam is approximately $90. The AP Exam is administered during the first two weeks of May. Students desiring to take other Advance Placement courses, not offered by WSCA, may do so independently online through approved organizations. The cost of the course is paid by the student.
