Generous Tuition Assistance Is Granted on a Per Family Basis by Application to FACTS

Tuition Assistance. Harrisburg Christian School is committed to making an HCS Christian education available to families who share the school’s mission and vision. We work hard to keep tuition rates as reasonable as possible, without sacrificing the quality of education our parents and students expect. We want to provide the best teachers and the best educational experience possible for your child(ren). To help families with the cost of education, HCS offers a payment plan, as well as need-based financial aid.

Financial Aid. Financial aid is designed to assist qualifying families who have sacrificed to make Christian education a priority for their family. Made available through the generous donations of alumni, parents, grandparents, friends of the school, and local businesses, the process for applying for aid is simple. New financial aid applicants need to contact the Admissions department to receive a link to apply. Current families re-applying for aid need to log in to their RenWeb account and select the FACTS link and follow the prompts to apply.

HCS utilizes FACTS Grant and Aid Processing and the application can be done online. Financial aid is based on a formula that looks at variables such as family size, income, and assets. HCS strives to build a financial partnership between your family and the school, and through our Admissions and Finance Offices, we offer financial planning for families.

What is FACTS? FACTS provides HCS families a need-based financial analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. FACTS does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give. The recommendation reports from FACTS are reviewed by the Financial Controller and Superintendent with final approval from the Finance Committee.

Who should apply? Those families who feel they cannot afford the regular monthly tuition payment should apply. The cost to apply is $35. Payment must be made using a credit card.
