Service Learning

Our desire is to provide an academic environment which inspires students to deepen their understanding of the Christ revealed in Scripture and experience the life changing implications of the Gospel for the glory of God.

Senior Class Missions Trip

The more we love Christ, the more our lives look like His life. This is the embodiment of the Gospel. As believers, we should be concerned about those things that Jesus is concerned about. Whether it’s across the street or across the world, the follower of Jesus is called to give of his time, talent and treasure to those in need. At HCS we believe that mission trips provide an opportunity to live out our faith outside of the classroom and to love our neighbors as ourselves. HCS offers a senior class mission trip to the Dominican Republic so that our students might participate in the joy of serving their Maker by serving others.

Day of Service

Our Middle School and High School students take part of a Day of Service every year. They volunteer to spend their day serving in various non-profits across the Central PA area. This day has proven to be a great experience for both the student and the ministry they are helping.
