Academics at Harrisburg Christian School
At HCS, we develop a strong foundation for learning in all subjects. In addition, we provide daily Bible lessons and Chapel once a week. Biblical integration is woven throughout the curriculum, which is vividly displayed in the lives of our faculty and staff.
The focus of the Harrisburg Christian School Middle School Program is to provide students with the academic background that will prepare them for High School, to encourage them to grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, to foster Godly relationships with their classmates, and to develop and practice Christian leadership and service. Courses offered at the Middle School Level are based upon providing students with a diversity of experiences.
Our High School division includes students in the 6th-12th grade levels. We offer a challenging curriculum, including classes for college prep, honors’ and advanced placement students. In addition, students can choose from an array of elective offerings, including chorus, band, handbells, yearbook, art, creative writing, and many others.
