Arts

Every student is made in the image of God and reflects His character through creating true and beautiful art. We want to equip students with a lifelong appreciation of the arts and the skills to explore their own artistic expression in a variety of mediums. 

The Fine Arts Department at HCS is exemplary, offering many opportunities for students to be involved in art, music, and theater. Musical groups include vocal choirs, handbell choir, concert bands and more. The visual arts classes cover a variety of both 2D and 3D mediums and range in level from beginner to advanced. A significant portion of our student body also takes part in producing a top-notch Broadway musical each spring.

I think art is one way God has invited us into proclaiming the new creation,
making little signposts that point to the Kingdom.
